Work not just for a living, work because you love what you are doing.
Choosing the career path to take is not a simple task. Not just for those who are starting to take their first step into the real world, but for those who are struggling with their midlife crisis as well. “What should I do?” “What should I choose?” “Where should I go?” “Who should I be with?” These are the common questions that we are dealing with when it comes to choosing the career path we want to take. Simple questions, yet critical to what we will be in the near future. Some succeed to answer these questions, and some failed. For me, the answer to these questions is just simple. Choose a career that suits you—a job that will give you enjoyment and satisfaction to every challenge that comes with your tasks and a career that you will love. Trust me, there is no such thing as an easy job. Every career has its own difficulties and challenges. Stress is always waving at you, waiting to eat the life out of you, but if you love what you are doing, career difficulties and stress are just a piece of cake for you to deal with.
I learned this lesson from one of my instructors in college during a casual talk after class, and I’m living with it until now. Choosing the career that you love will give you enjoyment; it will give you growth for every challenge and a great point of view towards your life. These are the reasons why I chose to have a degree in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in my alma mater, Trimex Colleges, and the same reasons why I chose the field of Web Development. There might be other careers that are promising a salary with great numbers that will sprint up to my financial success in a short period of time, but why I still choose Web Development? Because I love what I’m doing. For me, staking my happiness in exchange for big numbers is a great mistake, it will not just give me regrets but also affect the whole me.
Enjoying Web Development as my chosen career leads me to Carl Ocab Digital Marketing. I applied as a developer, and honestly, everything seems new to me. This made me realize that I am now in the real world, and this is different from college. Amazed and excited, I am now ready to face the real world. Training is both exciting and full of learning. Thanks to my mentors and other members of the family. Yes, you read it right. We are not just a group of developers and office workers, but a family working together not just for Carl Ocab Digital Marketing’s success but for the growth of each individual as well. The work environment is fun and cool that keeps the stress away from us, enjoying our tasks. With all of these, I can say that I am very happy about the career I choose to live without any regrets.
