“The girl with many dreams.” That’s what they call me.
When I was 7, I dreamt of becoming a doctor because hey, saving people’s lives is totally awesome. Then during my high school days, I changed my mind and told myself that I wanted to be a lawyer instead, only to realize early in college that law isn’t really my thing.
On my 1st year in college, I decided on pursuing a degree in tourism. Unfortunately, San Beda doesn’t offer that course. But even that didn’t stop me! I resolved to study a 4-year course in Beda, hoping to graduate and get a great job, before training as a flight attendant later on. “What could go wrong?” I thought. Optimistic in my freshman year, I thought chasing my dreams would be all rainbows and sunshine.
Until I graduated college and reality hit me.
Seriously, I never realized how hard it was to find a job that fits me well. Imagine how painful it is to travel from Cavite to Makati just to find out that I didn’t get in. My job applications got rejected so many times that I began losing hope.
And then CODM emailed me.
It was an answered prayer. I was happy, nervous, and excited all at the same time when I got in. And although I don’t know what the future holds for me, one thing’s for sure: This is the first step to reaching my dreams.
I’ve been working here for almost two months now, and I’m having an incredible experience. I love what I am doing in this job, I love organising projects and talking to clients; giving them the best service they deserve. It was an amazing feeling when a client is satisfied and happy. That’s what keeps me motivated everyday. I know it was God’s plan to put me in this position and I’m very happy and thankful about it.
