Out of all the articles I’ve read, this is probably one of the most unique. The idea of building links using multilingual content is ingenious.

Heck, I think I should also try to make one of my products multilingual to reach my target market.

It’s a very nice idea. I haven’t tried this yet as I only focus building backlinks from sites with English as a the primary language content. I don’t think Google will differentiate whether a backlink is an English word or not, right? I could be wrong though..

I would add my 2 pence about link building for international results as such – a good place to start looking for links with the desired TLDs are in the directory submission services, if you domain has a general tld – such as .com etc, then you will need more of your desired countries tlds pointing to your site to help the search engines figure out your target teritory… but if you are residing on say, .fr and want to optimise higher up – the tld of you backlinks become less important as you have the country featuring in your url…
