Great article. I am amazed to see how few articles provide meaningful, solid advice on developing a checklist for blogging.

I think the focus must be more on content and less on money. The one thing I suggest you add is authenticity and generosity. As a salesman, I never ask for an order until I have given the potential customer something of value. Usually it is information. And that’s what the web is all about.

Your site is authentic. Your content is yours.

Thanks for posting this very cool and informative article about blogging! Now, I’ve realized that it’s very important to have a niche… you know, i have a blog but it doesn’t have a niche. i am talking about anything under the sun and now, my blog looks like a personal web-diary, how cool is that?

I must have a niche now and it should be all about survivor insights.

You mentioned something about socializing with other bloggers, but omitted the “Marketing Part” , most of the bloggers prefer not to say a word about their advertising strategies and how much money is spent on Adwords , Bitvertiser and such contextual advetising.
